Giving Recognition for Hires made via Teamable

Everyone appreciates a quick shout out!

When you publicly thank employees for introducing you to someone who joins the team, you're ensuring that everyone at the company knows that leadership understands and genuinely appreciates the value of warm referrals. This will result in more employees making more referrals.

Suggested best practices:

  1. Send a Thank You email to the referring employee and recruiter from your Head of Talent or CEO, cc-ing their manager.
  2. Add a slide to your department all hands or team meeting to highlight the team member for the hire.
  3. Send the employee a hand written thank you card or a coffee gift card.

Regardless of whether you offer monetary incentives for employee referrals, taking the time to recognize the employee ensures you're building a referral based culture that will attract the best talent as you continue to grow.
