How to Move a Candidate to a Different Role


On occasion an employee will refer a candidate whose skillset is better matched to a different open role than the one for which they were initially identified. Here’s how to move them to another role without losing any progress in the referral process.

  1. Navigate to the Tracking page.
  2. Search for the role where the candidate is waiting for approval. (Reminder: any role where there are recruiters approvals pending will have a red dot.) Using the filters, narrow your results to Recruiter Pending. Click on the “hamburger” icon next to Approve click on Approve for other position.   
  3. A popup will appear and you can select the role to which you would like to move to the candidate.
