Create sense of urgency and excitement by holding a company raffle

Studies have shown that the average person has at least 25-100 great people in their network that could positively impact company hiring--and some have many more!  

One way to encourage and reward employee participation in Teamable, is by holding a company or department wide raffle. These are especially useful during the first month of launch when you're trying to introduce Teamable and incentivize your employees for their participation. 

You can customize the raffle eligibility criteria to meet your specific referral and hiring goals.

Typically, the drawing itself is held in a large and open gathering place with foot traffic like the company lunchroom, lobby, or a conference room.

You can also create posters and other collateral to help encourage awareness about your company's referral incentives and Teamable as your new referral recruiting tool.

Sending just one message a week is usually all it takes to get all of your employees to participate.

 

Week One

Objective: quickly explain what Teamable is and let your employees know how easy it is to sign up. Then announce your raffle and what employees need to do in order to entered.

Example email:

Hi Team,

Can you please take 30-seconds to create an account on Teamable? It's a new tool we're using to see if we can improve our referral flow, which is always a better source of people. It's meant to make the process of reaching out a lot easier for you.

During our launch month, we're also having a special raffle on the last Friday of the month during lunch! We'll be giving out three $200 gift cards. In order to qualify, all you need to do is sign up with Teamable and refer at least one candidate from your network.

Week Two

Objective: continue to build excitement around Teamable as your company's referral engine. Your goal is to get 80% of your employees connected to Teamable before end of week.

Friendly reminder to sign up for Teamable, our new referring tool. Takes just thirty seconds:

1. Click on https://teamable.com
2. Sign in with corporate email
3. Upload your LinkedIn CSV and connect other networks

That's it for now. Whenever there's a match, you'll get an email giving you the option of making an intro and you'll get the referral bonus if your referral is hired.

Objective: remind everyone to go into Teamable and mark top talent and make referrals.

By now you've probably already signed up for Teamable, our new referral engine for making warm intros to make hiring easier. We all know how important hiring the best is. Teamable makes this easier for everyone.

If you haven't signed up yet, it's easy to do. Takes thirty seconds!

And if you haven't visited for a while, take a look again to see suggestions for candidates for our open positions. Referring people is as simple as clicking on a button. You can also help us out by marking top talent, to make sure we're considering the best candidates within our extended network. And, of course, if you make the intro, you'll get the referral bonus if your referral is hired.

Objective: congratulate the winners and remind employees about the continued value of Teamable for achieving your company's referral and diversity hiring objectives.
